Mark and his wife Mary have written two North Light instructional art books, Drawing for the Absolute Beginner and Watercolor for the Absolute Beginner. They have also contributed to 6 other books and almost 40 articles for Watercolor Artist Magazine.
As an illustrator, Mark has illustrated children’s books for Harcourt Achieve and he has had published over 200 illustrations for Standard Publishing.
